Luggage storage at Newark Airport

I was trying to find luggage storage at Newark last month and didn%26#39;t have any luck with my airline or the airport.

There is a solution!!!

The company is called NBS Storage and Delivery and they have a desk at Carousel #1 Arrivals level, at Newark International Airport. They don%26#39;t have a web site, so if you need additional information, call them at (908) 933-0503. They open at 7am and close at 1am.

They stored our luggage, 2 bags in total, while we went into Manhattan for the day, before our flight. The total cost was 15.00.

You tell them what time you need it back and they were right on time.Unfortunately our flight was cancelled and we had to stay overnight, but that is another story.

It was the perfect solution and its availability is clearly not well known.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks so much for the info on luggage storage...it is a great help. Do you by any chance remember in which terminal NBS is located??

Anyone having more info on this?

Hi

I was really delighted to see that you had posted such a helpful solution to luggage storage at Newark.

Could you tell me if they charged you per bag plus time?

Thanks so much.....

Hi

I was really happy to find your solution to luggage storage to Newark International.

We have a stopover from New York to Glasgow in November this year. Could you tell me if you were charged per bag and for the time stored?

Thanks so much.......

Just want to thank you for your most helpful post!

I just got off the phone with NBS. When I asked where they were located, I was told they are ';located in the Continental terminal between carousels 1 %26amp; 2';.

Hope this helps!

Just got off the phone with them as well. They are actually operating 24 hours a day now. Detailed daily cost is $16 per bag if the bag is over 60 pounds; if under 60 pounds it%26#39;s $10 for the first bag and $5 for each additional bag.

Hope this is useful.

This post was made in 2006, does anyone know if the NBS Storage and Delivery service is still in the same location as of October 2007?

Here%26#39;s a crazy idea.

Try calling them.

I just used this service this weekend after reading about it here and thank you very much cause i certainly woudlnt have stumbled across it.

Any airline staff member you ask about luggage storage says ';nope not since 9-11';

We called the number given here and found them between baggage carousel 1 and 2 in Terminal C.

There is a sign on a pillar that says NBS and a stainless steel counter thing.

I was a little worried as no one seemed to know them (it is a private company unrelated to the airport).

But it worked out very well for me and I will be using them to pop into the city during layovers in the future.
