Outdoor Pools In Atlantic City

My Husband and I have a getaway planned for late June to Atlantic City. (Sun %26amp; Mon. Nights) We currently hava a package booked at Showboat, but now I am second guessing myself...My # 1 wish for the trip is to sit in the sun by the pool, read a book %26amp; sip a frozen drink. (I am not really a beach person) My Husband will be bored at the poll after 10 min...that%26#39;s why we picked AC...I can soak up some sun %26amp; Relax while he hits the slots. What hotel has the best pool...I know Brogata is nice, but a little pricier than we want to go, and we would rather be on the boardwalk. Any suggestions anyone has will be greatly appreciated.

Summer will be expensive wherever you stay.

I would avoid Caesars. Their pool is more a puddle. The pool has a nice deck are but the pool is way too small for a hotel that size.

It is a nice hotel otherwise.

tropicana has an outdoor pool with a large seating area, if you go book the south tower as it was recently redone

here are pix of Showboat%26#39;s pool

The one time we tried Showboat%26#39;s pool, we didn%26#39;t like it at all. It was really small and just very unrelaxing. There is also no bar at the pool. Tropicana or The Chelsea would definitely be on top of my list for your needs.

One more note on the Borgata pool. They just renovated the pool area in less than a year. It was WAY too small. By early morning, they stopped people from going out there becuase it was already full.

I don%26#39;t know how the new area will be. They did expand it and also put more deck space around the second side pool that they used as more of a private area for the cabanas, which seem to be gone now. So we will see. I%26#39;ll post a review in 3 weeks when I%26#39;m there at the pool.

I actually dont mind caesars pool. Yes it is small, but there is a great bar right next to it. Also, if you go up about 10 stairs from the pool, there is an adults only sundeck....and the waitresses serve drinks up there too!

Thanks for all the info, everybody!

That pic of the Showboat pool eases my mind some..It%26#39;s not big, but looks like there is some sun up there on the sundeck. We got a great deal on the package, (almost too good to be true) and that%26#39;s when I started getting nervous.

Have a great time!
