Desperate for info on the 4th of July in AC

Hey all-

Just trying to decide where I should shell out my money in AC on the 4th but I would love to know what is going on there this year (fireworks, concerts, etc.). I know if the past the fireworks have been at Borgata AND on the 3rd in the past. Anyone have inside info on this year??

Want to take a friend their for her 21st B-Day!!

The Hilton usually has a free concert on the beach, lately it%26#39;s been the Beach Boys. So far I haven%26#39;t seen any notices for this year; but Joe Cocker is doing a show in their theater that night.

I own a B%26amp;B just south of The Hilton and as one person mentioned they have been having free concerts over the 4th every year for years, but so far I have not seen any press releases come through indicating any free beach concerts yet for the 4th. They did have a free concert by Bally%26#39;s over Memorial Day weekend (Jefferson Starship) so I would expect there will be something.

My Borgata Host told me there would be fireworks once again, this year on the 4th, sponsored by both borgata and Harrahs. The fireworks are set off between the 2 casinos, last years show was great !

I thought I read 7/3/09 for fireworks in the Marina district. If I can find documentation, I will post it [I would PREFER the 4th myself]

This site www.new-jersey-leisure-guide.com/july-4.html does show the Borgata/Harrahs fireworks to be on the 4th at 9pm.

Just what I needed to know. We will be there but can%26#39;t stay at Harrahs (where we ALWAYS stay) because the rates are over $400 for the night so we are in the new Courtyard. Hope it is OK it is near the Taj I think. Just disapointed as I wanted to show my friend a great time for her 21st B-day (and look cool despite being over 30%26lt;grin%26gt;).
