Two Mile Landing...

Is Two Mile Landing still closed? We tried out the Lobster House last year and were utterly disappointed. Urie%26#39;s isn%26#39;t the greatest either. Any suggestions out there? We love the food and the atmosphere at Two Mile Landing.

Two Mile Landing...

Try Rick%26#39;s in North Wildwood. Take out only. Crabs are excellent.

Two Mile Landing...

Thanks for the advice. Not big fans of all the work that goes into eating whole crabs. Crab legs are about all I have patience for.

Probably way, way late to this thread, but mcmmom is right - Rick%26#39;s is the best for take-out crabs. Their crabs are cooked better than the Crab House too, the downside is they are take-out only. You can also buy bags of claws, if I%26#39;m not mistaken. Also, try Lighthouse Pointe - just over the bridge on Rio Grande (heading inland) on your immediate left. Very good food, great service and on the water, entertainment at night.

SOOOOOOOOOOO, is Two mile Landing going to be open for the summer of 2009?

I%26#39;ve heard the restaurant had been completely gutted and the structure of the damaged part of the Inn had been rebuilt. It could mean they are shooting for this season?

I sure hope they open again this year. I agree, there aren%26#39;t many other places for good seafood, that are fun and have a view. I had major withdrawls about where to eat last summer and ended up cooking in most the time.

i called their phone number last week and the recording indicated that they will remain closed for this season as well, plus their webpage has been shut down, thats not a good sign

Two Mile Inn and Crab House are part of a group of 6 area restaurants in The Wildwoods. http://www.bigfish6.net/

When the accident happened, many of their employees were absorbed into the other 4.

Let%26#39;s hope they reopen......soon?

Well, the employees were absorbed, but the atmosphere and the food wasn%26#39;t.

I agree. Nothing could beat the raw bar between the two restaurants on a steamy afternoon. Cool cocktails and shade, along with some great seafood. While we eat at Urie%26#39;s, is still feels kind of like a tourist trap. The crab house never did.
