The next time we plan to visit Harrah%26#39;s in A/C we would like to rent one of those scooters for my husband. The casino is now so extensive that he needs one to get around. Has anyone had any experience in this regard?

Scooters
Sorry, just chuckling to think how many regulars were waiting for Holly or I to respond to this. I%26#39;ve rented a scooter to get around Harrah%26#39;s a bunch of times - the other casinos aren%26#39;t nearly as bad, but I%26#39;m looking into getting one to keep now as I%26#39;ve become spoiled by being able to zoom around everywhere.
The best place I%26#39;ve found to rent them is Seniors on the Go, website is http://www.sog-inc.com/services.htm . Phone number is 1-800-332-0443. Call a couple of days (or more) ahead of time to arrange the rental. They deliver it right to the casino so you either call them when you%26#39;re 30 minutes out or tell them what time you%26#39;ll be there and it%26#39;ll be waiting for you at the bell desk, directly to the right of check in.
I don%26#39;t know how long you%26#39;re planning to stay, but rental rates are $44/day for the first 2 days and $22/day after that. So if you do as I do and stay for 3 nights, say a Friday, Saturday, Sunday, the rental cost is $110, (44+44+22) because they count a day as noon to noon, so I pick it up at about 1 Friday and return it noon Monday.
They are extremely easy to use assuming the use of one good hand to steer and control speed. Watch out tho because he%26#39;ll be zipping past you so you%26#39;ll have to trot to keep up.
A last word of advice - if you%26#39;re going to ride on his lap, avoid casino security, lol. And yes, I do have a legitimate reason to use one.

Venussuz - thanks so much for the helpful information. I will remember to wear my good walking shoes so I can keep up with him. Thanks again.
one last thing Venus neglected to mention. When you park the scooter, be sure to take the keys with you as you may return %26amp; the scooter will not be there.
:)
:o) :o) she isn%26#39;t around to defend herself, she%26#39;ll get you when she returns:o)

You%26#39;ll find that I have been advocating Diamond Scooters for about 8 months now, as my experiences with Seniors on the Go were less than stellar, as reported here: tripadvisor.com/…14212604
Oddly, I can%26#39;t find a working web site for Seniors on the Go, makes me wonder if that woman down the elevator shaft incident at Bally%26#39;s did them in.
Hi Ryan,
Do you mind posting your rates here? The scooter question has come up a few times.
thanks!

Ryan, Please come back and let us know what the rates are. That should be OK as you were directly asked. That would be very useful information.
Thanks
