Hi All,
Just got back from an overnight In Caesar%26#39;s. Took a thorough walk-through of Caesar%26#39;s and Bally%26#39;s to see what new machines they had. I noticed that EVERY community gaming machine (press your luck, monopoly, and ebay) we gone from both casinos. Where Monopoly and Press your Luck used to be in Caesar%26#39;s there are now two new 5-cent machines that look like community gaming, but everyone actually has their own bonus rounds and you don%26#39;t share anything.
Went to Harrah%26#39;s 3 weeks ago and they still had their machines...does somebody know something I don%26#39;t?
No More Community Gaming?
I was told in a Delaware casino the name brand community games like the big Wheel of Fortune and Ebay were high rent machines...going to AC tomorrow and will check out a few of the casinos.
No More Community Gaming?
I played one at Resorts on May 23. Had a good time, too.:)
I was at Showboat yesterday (5/31) and they have a Press Your Luck machine.
I have also heard that those big machines cost the casinos a lot more money than the others so they%26#39;ve removed them to help their bottom lines.
but Ebay was so fun :(
I just played EBay for the first time at Borgata this morning. It was tough to get a seat last night, but wide open this morning. I was down $30 and hit the bonus round where I won $35. That was fun. I would imagine even the electricity just to run that huge screen above the machines isn%26#39;t cheap.
My sis played a community gaming Wheel of Fortune at Taj in early May. The wheel was placed against a wall, only had 4 seats %26amp; the community gaming [although it was prominently posted at each seat how to %26#39;join~in%26#39;] was disabled.
the last time i was there i saw ebay and monopoly at tropicana, i dont believe they changed them
Yesterday Taj still had Press Your Luck and 1/2 the Wheel of Fortune against the wall.
Plus Indiana Jones and others.
Trump Marina had Ebay and others. Plaza also had the Press your Luck.
