My Vegas TR May 31- June 4

I did not go on the jump for reasons I will not go into but it was a blessing in disguise. You will see why on my second date with GLINDA.

On to day two....so I get up and go to the buffet. Audrey slept in. As usual the buffet at Wynn is good and you know what next...GLINDA. I had $100 free play and I knew exactly what I was going to do with it. So all 4 machines were empty but one was screaming at me.....some of you know what I mean.

So I get the Monkeys (SPIDERMONKEYS) and yes I did scream it out as a tribute to Jaco. Nice win. About $175.00 so I spin a few more times and who shows up.....GLINDA. I was playing max bet so that is $3.00 a spin and I get three wilds and two Woz symbols....BIG WIN. $1156.00 Thank you Mr. Wynn

I play for a little while longer on my money and then cash out my ticket. I get Audrey her tea and call my GF at work and tell her what happened. They all know I have a thing for GLINDA. lol

We meet Audrey%26#39;s mom downstairs. She lives in Vegas and go to Palazzo to meet up with Ronda. I found Glinda and won about $225 which is good because I lost about that much earlier on Quick hits and some other machine.

We walk Mom back to Wynn to get her car and then proceed to Margaritaville to meet up with Gabby and the gang. We had a great time and sat on the top level where it was nice and refreshing. I had a frozen Margarita and a real Margarita and some sort of shrimp pasta that was so good. After dinner, Ronda went back to her room and Audrey and I went back towards the Wynn. We went into the Venetian and found Brookstone where we proceeded to get our free massages. Those $3000 chairs were to die for. Massaged head, neck, back, butt and feet. I didn%26#39;t want to leave. After that tantalizing experience, we walked the canal into Palazzo and then back to Wynn..

Sidebar* I was told by VADreamer that I almost ran her over to get to Glinda in the Venetian. She wasn%26#39;t sure if it was me but she asked me if I was wearing a yellow blouse and I was. So Sherrie, sorry if I ran you down. LOL.

We were pooped went to bed around 12 midnight.

On to day three....It was check out time. :(

We had breakfast at the buffet one last time and this was my Nana moment. I saw they had cream of wheat on the buffet. I called my Mom whimpering telling her I am eating cream of wheat just like Nana made it. Not everyone makes good cream of wheat and that was a great moment for me.

On to Planet Hollywood. Of course the bellman had to mention that going from Wynn to PH was like going to a dump and of course the cab driver said the same. Who cares what you think? Free is free. LOL.

We got to PH around 11am. Our room was ready and it was a great room. I was pleasantly surprised. Nicely furnished and not much of a view. Who cares? Free. So you know what I had to do. Find Glinda. And yes I did. I won about $220 (off my $50 freeplay) and gave her a break for a bit. I showed Audrey around the hotel and played various machines. We walked the miracle mile and bought large Mudslides from Fat Tuesdays. Those were the bomb. I went back into the casino and played a few more machines and proceeded to order rounds of Baileys to pour in my Mudslide. The server was even kind enough to find me and pour another glass in my drink. I didn%26#39;t even ask for it. She even told me that was a clever idea. She was great.

We went upstairs and Ronda came over. They decided they didn%26#39;t want to go to the Mega and I went alone. It was fine. I got on the deuce and rode DT. I made it to the Golden Nugget and proceeded to the rush bar. I met so many people like Daddy Caddy and his wife another gentleman (I forgot his tag name but he is from Canada and his wife) He and daddy caddy started talking about Golf and they had some funny stories. Nurse Teresa, Sally of Jack and Sally fame and Bonsmom. I had met Vegas Varment at the slushie party. Pruske and so many others and please forgive me for not remembering your names.

TA Sara was so hospitable and I want to thank Trip Advisor for their hospitalilty. The manager of the Rush Bar took us up to Gold Diggers and we were able to watch the light show from above. We had the place all to ourselves. It was wonderful. As we went back downstairs, there was a sax player name David? that was so good. He inquired why we were wearing tags and I told him. The bar was open to the public at this time and it was packed. He played and sang old motown songs as well as other golden oldies and we sang and danced all night long.

Must I say that ChitownGambler is such a gentleman. We danced for a bit and his Lady and Mom is so wonderful. I had made a pit stop to the ladies room by the way of Glinda and won $100 bucks. LOL. Coming out the ladies room, I see Chitown and he extends his arm like the gentleman he is and escorts me back to the party.

It was so much fun and I can%26#39;t wait to the next one. Bonsmom and I decided to take the deuce but it was a mob of people on LV Blvd. So mobbed that we probably would have gotten on the 3rd or 4th deuce. That is how packed it was. So we decide to hop in a cab and was driven by Mario Andretti as I am saying to myself I want to live and Bonsmom is asking him to slow it down a little. We drop off Bonsmom at Harrahs and go back to PH. I should have walked because he took Koval and it was mobbed. The fare should have been no more than $20 but it ended up at $30 and he had the nerve to ask for a tip. I gave him the $5 bucks and cursed him out in the process.

Well I met Audrey in front and I was starved so I went to PF Changs for dinner and had some Pepper Steak. It was really good. I played Glinda and she whipped my butt so I moved to some other machines. Goldfish, Bonus Frenzy and some other machines. We played until 3 am and went to bed.

Ok on to the last full day.

Woke up and went to the buffet. We enjoyed our meal. We decided to walk to the other end of the strip but before that we went upstairs to get our glasses to refill on mudslides with shots for our journey to MGM. It was hot as heck but we endured. We saw the Lions, Mom and Pop and played a while there. I played the Hitchcock machines and enjoyed those. Audrey played the goldfish, no wolves for her.

Moved on to NY NY and Monte Carlo played there for a while. Went to Bills and saw Gabby and the gang for a brief time and played Glinda and lost. Walked over to Caesars and took her into the massive Forum shops. We had some laughs.

We were going to go to Ellis Island but Audrey didn%26#39;t want to walk...neither did I and we went to Planet Dailies and had Grilled Chicken Pasta which was good but Audrey thought it was a small portion. It was just right. We went upstairs to watch Obama in the White House and then caught a few shows at Bellagio. It was a perfect ending to a perfect vacation. Last song was ';Say Goodbye';? Andre Bouchelli. Went to bed early. Glinda took back a small amount of my winnings so I was happy. We got up early and had breakfast at Planet Dailies, checked out. Mom picked us up and took us to airport. Got home at 9pm last night and finished unpacking this morning.

I had a great time with old friends and plenty of new ones. I will definitely be at the next one.

Stupid cut and paste....here is day one

Day one...

My GF Audrey (GhanaGirl09) left for JFK at 5am in the morning to catch a 8am flight. We got to JFK about 6am so we had about 2 hours to kill. Trying to be friends flying around. WTF?!! Is this a bird aviary or an airport?

We finally boarded and was raring to go. I have one pet peeve? Why is it when not only the captain but flight attendants come over and tell you to sit in your seats when the seat belt signs are on, that passengers decide not to not only follow the rules but go above and beyond to further annoy people? They wouldn%26#39;t sit in their seats, kept pulling stuff out of the overhead bins. You name it, they did it.

So we finally get off the plane and decide to find our friend Ronda. Well that never materialized because us thinking she was on a Continental flight but a US Air flight. So we were panicking thinking something was wrong but all was well. So Audrey and I got a cab to the Wynn.

As we check into the Wynn, I found out that because of the two double beds, we couldn%26#39;t get a strip view room. All double rooms face the golf course. All righty then. That was good to know. It was all good. The room was beautiful as well as the view. Although I prefer Encore.

We go down to the buffet for brunch and as I as for the champagne brunch, they tell me that they have run out of champagne. WTF?!! How do you run out of champagne? The hostess proceeded to tell me that was a first for them. So as I am waiting to be seated the manager DeShawn asked me if all is well. No I tell her. I want champagne and you do not seem to have any. So she tells me to tell my server to make sure I get my champagne and make sure I tell them she says so. YAY. I was happy. Brunch was great as usual. So you know whats next. GLINDA

Yep and she was waiting. Audrey found her wolves and I had a date with GLINDA. I won about $100 bucks so that was a great start. So after playing for a little bit we go upstairs to freshen up. We head DT for the slushie party. I was kind of nervous because I have never been to a meet and greet but after meeting the golden girls, Broken Alice, Pookie, Oxy and the gang it was all good. I never had so much fun. We went to LaBayou and got a very large Sex on the Bayou and proceeded to get intoxicated. Well Ronda finally showed up and we walked from various casinos before dinner at Flame. I found Glinda at Four Queens and proceeded to win $315.00. Glinda will be the theme on this trip. We had a love/hate relationship but mostly love.

I met up with the gang at El Cortez and met Honey Me, well I met her earlier, Exhaling. Oh snap, someone else was at my table with her GF. OOOHHH don%26#39;t be mad at me. But we had a great time and a lot of food. So much food that I gave my leftovers to a homeless man before I got on the deuce. Well the night DT ended with the light show to Queen. RIP Freddie Mercury.
